Author's Note: The A-Wing was always one of my favorite Star Wars fighters, it has a lacking popularity, but was always the most "logical" fighter in space flight of the Star Wars universe.
I got a hold of a blue-print image of the A-Wing scaled it to 1/4 and more or less utilized pixel counts provided to me in photoshop to "carve" out appropriate dimensions, sizes, and whatnot. Considering the image only had two sides, top and front, I had to take a little creative right.
I also used WorldEdit in game with Bukkit.
So that and photoshop, the only software used.
No Texture Pack (IE Default Textures)
Total block count: around 38,000 (give or take, I wasn't keeping track)
Materials = Glass, Iron Block, Red Wool, Orange Wool, Obsidian, Stone (can't see from images, but the Stone is in the cockpit)
Also, I built this all entirely myself. But there were critics and input from others.
